FAQ
How many makeup rounds can this hold?
This all depends on how thick your makeup rounds are, however if using Earths Tribe rounds it can fit 20.
If I didn’t buy my makeup rounds from Earths Tribe, will they still fit?
As the holder can fit makeup rounds with diameter of 8.5 cm (3.33 inches) it was designed so that it is a universal fit with most reusable makeup round brands on the market.
Does mōsō bamboo still keep its anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties after harvesting?
There is mixed opinions on this however studies have shown that as long as Bamboo Kun (the chemical in bamboo that gives its anti-bacterial & anti-fungal properties) is not destroyed in the manufacturing process, then bamboo can remain resistant to fungus and bacteria.
Is mōsō bamboo really one of the most environmentally friendly material on the planet?
Without a doubt – yes! Besides its unique ability to absorb a substantial amount of CO2 from the atmosphere over its lifetime, it is considered an endless resource because it grows faster than another other plant on the planet, sometimes up to 1 meter a day. Even when taking into account the CO2 emitted from transporting bamboo products, the net CO2 remains carbon negative, although in some cases at worst can be carbon neutral. As mōsō bamboo does not require chemicals to grow or pesticides to keep bugs and fungus away it is a much cleaner materials when compared to other common trees cultivated for wood.
